Pretty much any adult can tell you about the time s/he ran away as a child: to the neighbours', to the park, to the corner store. A friend took this saying strangely literally when she was about four years old. Having formed her plan to "run away," she sprinted out the door and down the street. Her babysitter caught up with her by the time she reached the corner. Nevertheless, her enthusiasm is appreciated.
Even when we enter the workforce, it's hard to shake the feeling that it is time to start planning summer vacations and going camping. Others run to the chilly embrace of the cineplex when the mercury starts rising.
