I love Blueray. Not because I own a Blueray player, but because it means stores are now practically giving away DVDs. At places like Blockbuster and Rogers, you can buy movies for $4.99, and sometimes even cheaper depending on the promotional specials that week! Unfortunately, I've recently learned that if a movie costs under five dollars, it's probably because it's terrible. Here' s just a handful of the under-five-dollar movies I've regrettably purchased lately. Suburban Girl
About fifteen minutes in you start thinking, this isn really going to be a romance about Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin. They aren't really going to go there, are they? Yup, they are. Ewwwww! The Haunting of Molly Hartley
In rather interesting twist, this is not a ghost movie and Molly is not haunted. Seriously... they couldn't even get the title right. (Oh, and the trailer gives away the 'surprise' ending!) Tideland
Begins with a message from director Terry Gilliam telling the audience that we'll probably hate the movie. He's right. It's self-indulgent garbage. Postal
Directed by Uwe Boll. Staring Dave Foley's penis. Nuff Said Stick with the $7.99 movies my friends. The $4.99 ones just aren't worth it.
