Essayist, journalist and novelist Pankaj Mishra will be in Ottawa on November 2 as part of The India Lectures organized by Canada's International Development Research Centre. This final installment of The India Lectures will be a special presentation held in collaboration with The Ottawa International Writers Festival. An award-winning author and frequent contributor to The New York Times, The Guardian, and The New York Review of Books, Mishra's writing explores topics ranging from globalization to the Dalai Lama to the "Talibanization" of South Asia. Pankaj Mishra will reflect on South Asia in the world.
