Okay, it looks a little dorky up close like that, particularly Garou as Quasimodo, but it's still good stuff. Especially once Bruno Pelletier gets going with that rockin' counter-current solo. I recently discussed this rock opera with my French instructor, who asked me which character was my favourite. I replied that was Gringoire (Pelletier). My instructor leaned in confidentially to make sure I understood that his character was a homosexual. I appreciated her taking me by the hand to ensure that I didn't fall for any fictional gay men, so I pointed out that I liked his singing voice the best.

Not Act I

This is actually song 14 of Act II (as the video's title shows). The final song of Act I is called "Fatalite" and is also awesome with a rocking solo from Grignoire smilies/smiley.gif
