Every Tuesday (Cult)ure shares with you a delicious and easy recipe.

This Warm Spinach Salad with Tuna recipe comes from an excellent website, The World's Healthiest Foods. The salad is extremely simple to make, and insanely delicious (not to mention healthy!). The tuna not only adds extra flavour, but protein and omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients:

6 cups baby spinach

1/2 5 oz can of tuna

1 TBS extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp fresh lemon juice

1 medium clove garlic

sea salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt and pepper to taste and heat until warm. Drizzle over spinach leaves and top with tuna.

Serves: 1

I add some cubed mozzarella and raw mushrooms to my version, and I use lemon tuna for an extra lemon kick!
