LANDSCAPE of the BODY:
Ottawa artist Roy Whiddon presents an exhibition of 32 black and white photographs which explore the nude figure in terms of landscape. Light and shadow, line and texture, positive and negative space are all employed to portray the beauty and strength of the human form.
The exhibition is currently on display and continues through August 24.

"Aroused" - An exhibition of paintings by Anna Funnekotter at Gallery Farina
Driven by spirit and fueled by passion, Anna Funnekotter achieves her look and feel using expressive colour palettes. Her abstract art emits a story of emotion, whimsical imagery, and depth of soul.
Gallery Farina is located upstairs at Johnny Farina Restaurant, 216 Elgin Street, Ottawa. "Aroused" runs from August 1st to October 1st.

La filature (AXENÉO7 and Daïmon) presents an exhibition gathering artworks in which both graphical and conceptual aesthetics occupy a prominent position. These pieces, made within the last thirty years, are showing the constant influence of the superman onto the collective imagination.
