These frames come from discarded materials of clients, mistakes, etc. Some are in poor shape (one man's trash is another man's treasure) and some are quite nice. Come on by and see if you are able to find something. The old ones in poor shape will be free. Sunday November 29th, 10 am-5 pm | Cash only Patrick Gordon Framing is hosting IDLE HANDS, a unique holiday gift sale of handmade items. Something for everyone naughty or nice. 29 local artists selling their indie crafts. You will find one of a kind items made from new, vintage, upcycled and recycled materials. Prints, clothing lines, knits, jewellery, childrens items, cards for all occasions, bags, purses, scarves, hats and other accessories. Pillows, clocks and home decor galore. Sunday November 29th, 10am-5pm Cash only | $2 admission This Sunday, the Dusty Owl Workshop Series is proud to present a writing workshop with local crime-fiction author Barbara Fradkin. The informal, interactive workshop will examine the enduring power of the mystery novel, in all its guises. There are four magical ingredients to writing crime fiction that thrills, provokes and inspires the reader — good writing, Drop by and see Ashley Barrie's fabulous large abstract paintings. As well, new works by Anita Utas and MaryAnn Camps (pictured: "The Space Between 3") can be seen in the permanent exhibition space downstairs.
