WHO WE ARE.
The Natasha Royka Dance Company, directed by dancer/choreographer Natasha Royka and musician Andrea Loken, brings the magic of dance out of the studio and into the world.  Grounded in the technique of Contemporary Dance, the company transcends movement from the pedesterian into the realm of exploration and transformation.
Formerly working under the name of PhOOM!, the company has performed for Herbfest, the Ottawa Lumiere Festival,  Lights across Canada (Parliament Hill, Ottawa) and created site specific pieces for John Ceprano's Rock Sculptures at Remic Rapids, Ottawa.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Dancers and movers who are comfortable with moving through space (dance training in contemporary technique is good, but not mandatory:), an ability/interest in acting/improv/audience interaction, actively studying/practicing a musical instrument, able to commit to a rehearsal schedule and enjoy exploring the many paths of creativity and performance.
