Five years since the The Corrs announced that they were taking a break from music to concentrate on their growing families, Sharon Corr is hugely excited to finally be releasing her debut solo album Dream of You. A collection of beautifully crafted, melodic pop gems, it’s a remarkable debut that demands to be listened in full – each story and melody flowing seamlessly into the next.
Recorded in Dublin earlier this year, Sharon worked with a truly eclectic range of renowned traditional musicians including Davy Spillane, John McSherry, Máirtín O’Connor and Gerry O’Connor. This new sound, combined with time out/away from the band, and her new wealth of experience as a mother, has produced a body of songs that will have reassuring tones for old Corrs fans, but also much that is new and fresh.
FRAN HEALYWreckorder

Dist: Warner Music Canada
Wreckorder is the debut solo album from Fran Healy, lead singer and main songwriter of acclaimed Scottish rock band Travis. The album is the work of a quintessential pop songwriter. Known for songs such as “Sing” and “Why Does It Always Rain On Me,” among other hugely successful tracks, Healy has been recognized by Q Magazine, Rolling Stone, and NME, amongst others, for what Entertainment Weekly calls “a gorgeous mosaic of shimmering guitar pop.” And artists such as Chris Martin from Coldplay and Noel Gallagher from Oasis have cited Healy’s sophisticated and atmospheric arrangements as a major influence on their own sound.
Recorded in Berlin, New York and Vermont, the 10 tracks that make up Wreckorder are as exceptionally literate as they are emotionally challenging. The collection of songs includes the Neko Case duet “Sing Me To Sleep” which bounces over warm melodies and a syncopated drum loop, the guitar-rich first single “Buttercups,” the soaring “In The Morning,” the playful but serious “Moonshine,” and the dramatic waltz of “As It Comes” which features Paul McCartney on bass.

There’s no tricks, it’s honesty with big melodies. And I’m going to be singing the s— out of them.” This is evident with the first single “Just The Way You Are”, which is already a breakthrough smash, quickly climbing the digital sales and radio charts.
