I have an addiction.

It consumes my life now, every afternoon at 1 pm.

I used to only indulge once a week. Sometimes more, if I could track down a hit or two online.

I was unlucky enough that my addiction went mainstream, and it became easier and easier to access. That’s how I got to the point that I’m at now, taking a hit every single weekday after lunch.

My name is Brenna and I’m a Degrassi-holic.

Canadians are nice, polite, and respectful.

Canadians are smarter than Americans.

Canada is a cultural mosaic.

Canada is governed by ideals of peace, order, and good government.

And Canada is also a country obsessively concerned with how it is viewed by the outside world (especially Americans), and a nation of people harbouring inferiority complexes the size of Nunavut.

Is it true?

Does it matter?
